Hypnotherapy often relies on auditory stimulation to help clients relax into a therapeutic trance state, which works just as well in person as it does over Zoom or Skype.
Using a visual medium like Zoom, Holly is able to monitor breathing patterns and facial expressions during the session. It helps to gauge what you are experiencing and how to best to tailor your session in real time.
Is it as effective as in person hypnosis? YES!
Absolutely, and for some, it can even allow clients to feel more relaxed and able to achieve trance more easily being in a comfortable of their own home.
All you will need for a successful session is a quiet comfortable place to relax in with minimal distractions. Some clients enjoy playing white noise or meditation music during the session.
How does it work?
The subconscious mind is highly suggestible to verbal and mental cues, and during hypnotic trance, one can effectively bypass the critical judgement and analysis of the conscious mind. This makes hypnotic suggestion effective, and allows for deeper emotional connection and resolution.
How is a remote session with Holly different from listening to Self Hypnosis recordings?
Both can be highly effective ways to shift your subconscious thoughts, patterns and beliefs; however, having a hypnotherapist to guide your journey allows for on-the-spot customization, in addition to a variety of techniques that require more interaction with your practitioner. Holly does offer a variety of high-quality recorded hypnosis content for those who prefer them, and for those who enjoy listening to self hypnosis tracks between sessions.
Holly has had great success with her clients both in person and remotely over her career, and for the vast majority of clients, has found no difference in their ability to achieve trance.
Given the nature of the pandemic, Holly only offers remote sessions at this time.
